5. Diverse women and ethnicity in marketing

While we've seen an increase in ethnic diversity in advertising, representations of women will broaden further in the year to come. Advertising will place more emphasis on realistic perceptions of females, taking into account factors such as lifestyle choices and business acumen, and we will also see a broadening of the ethnic mix of models featured.

6. Voyeurism

Observational visual styles - not intrusive, simply watching - will be everywhere this year. The latest "capture" technology (wearable, nano or drone) enables the viewing of people's worlds without disrupting the intimacy.
