Right back at the beginning of this missive, I offered the fact that a symmetric shape could not be a pose or, at the very best, would be dull, bland and uninteresting.
I now have to kick that statement out of the park. Figure 12 shows a symmetrical pose but, because it expression, a good-looking model and a touch of dynamic tilt - dull, bland and uninteresting it is not.
So, posing has a relationship with angles, lines and curves and in a practical environment, I will always study the pose from top to toe and look closely at the shapes I direct.
In the next edition of posing pouch, we will look at posing couples.
