Wanted – 12 photographers with naked ambition

European award-winning portrait photographers Trevor and Faye Yerbury are to run an exclusive day-long ‘classic nude workshop’ at a famous 13th century Somerset manor house.

The Edinburgh-based Yerbury duo has gained international acclaim for stunning classic nude photography and plans to reveal ‘trade secrets’ at the event on October 7th.

The shoot will cost £375 per delegate, including lunch and refreshments, and is restricted to a maximum of 12 photographers.

Said Trevor Yerbury: “Maunsel House near Bridgwater sits in a hundred acres of parkland and was the setting chosen by Chaucer when he penned The Canterbury Tales in the fourteenth century. Now several hundred years later the scratching of quills will be replaced by the squeezing of shutters as aspirational photographers work with us and two stunning professional models to create new works of art.”

Photographers wishing to reserve a place on the workshop should email: trevor@trevoryerbury.com

Chanelle and Craig of Segerius-Bruce Photography

Chanelle and Craig of Segerius-Bruce Photography had the fortune of being flown out to Pafos in Cyprus for a destination wedding at the beginning of July. The bride and groom are English and had 40 of their friends and family join them out there to celebrate their big day. Both Chanelle and Craig have a passion for travel and combining this with their love of photography means that destination weddings are a favourite for them. They met the couple for the first time three days before the wedding at their hotel in Pafos. They where are lovely, relaxed and easy going couple with only a hint of pre-wedding nerves. The wedding day went smoothly and people coped very well with the 36 degrees celsius heat. Due to the beautiful surroundings the couple opted for the next day “Shoot The Dress” session. Both the bride and groom got fully involved jumping into the ocean in their wedding gear!

The wedding was held at the Atlantida Restaurant on the beach.

Recommended Nikon lens for wedding photography

I’m thinking about buying a pro quality lens to use with my D200 for wedding work.  The 24-70mm f2.8 G AF-S ED looks great in reviews but I’ve not tried one. Any other ideas? What would you recommend?
