We are pleased to announce the results of the March 2015 Monthly Image Competition.

Over 1.200 images were entered in to March’s competition and 44 photographs were awarded a Gold award.

Lets see those sporting moments. They may be from professional teams or individuals or just a fun sporting accession. Show us examples of true action and activity which can include the grit of determination or the revelation from success.

BLACK AND WHITE SPIDER AWARDS HONORS RUBEN BUHAGIAR FROM MALTA

LONDON (1st July 2012) – Professional photographer Ruben Buhagiar of Malta was presented with the 7th Annual Black and White Spider Awards in the category of People at a prestigious Nominations & Winners PhotoShow. The live online ceremony webcast Saturday, 9th June, 2012 was attended by photography fans in 72 countries who logged on to see the climax of the industry’s most important event for black and white photography.

RUBEN BUHAGIAR The awards international jury included captains of the industry from National Geographic, Fratelli Alinari, Heffel Fine Art to the Tate in London who honoured Spider Fellows with 180 coveted title awards and 875 nominees in 14 categories.

“It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the 8,223 entries we received this year,” said Basil O’Brien, the awards Creative Director. “Ruben Buhagiar’s Viena Calling, an exceptional image entered in the People Professional category, represents black and white photography at its finest, and we’re pleased to present him with the title of Nominee.”
