For ‘Bump to Baby’ Click receives data from Bounty at the end of every month which includes names and addresses of women who are 6 months pregnant.
The studio then mails the clients offering them a Bump to Baby’ photo shoot – which is a session with their bump and then a session when the baby is born and they receive a 5” x 7” print from each session
The studio then mails customers again 8 weeks later and offers them a child’s portrait plan, which is three sessions over a 12 month period, at the end of this they receive an acrylic block with a print from each session in.
The acrylic blocks can be purchased from Picture Bloc and they cost £10.50 each.
For My 1st Birthday c receive the data from Bounty when the child is 10 months old and there is one mailing, customers are offered a free session and a 6” x 4” acrylic block.
For My 2nd Birthday c receive the data from Bounty when the child is 22 months old and there is one mailing, they are offered a session and a 6” x 4” acrylic block.
The 6” x 4” acrylic blocks can be purchased from Picture Bloc and cost £6.50 each.
Click have designed the mailers for the studios, so that they do not need to sit there worrying about layout and design, but they are able to use their own images and change it as long as it is sent through to Click first of all to have it approved by Bounty. They must also ensure that the offers stay the same.
The costs involved are as follows:
Members of the SWPP pay just £5 + VAT per postcode to join and it will cover them for a 12 month period. There is a minimum of 5 postcodes for each studio depending on availability.
If joining just Bump to Baby then the leads are 75p each, if joining just My 1st Birthday then the leads are 60p each and if joining just My 2nd Birthday then the leads are 60p each.
However, if joining all three groups then the lead price is reduced to 50p, so all three sets of data and 4 mailings costs only £1.50.
The mailers can be purchased from a company which Click work with, at a 1000 mailers for £85, however photographers are not obliged to use our printers and can use their own local printers or print them themselves if they would like to.
The Bump to Baby data is received around the 20th of each month, My 1st Birthday data is received around the 28th of each month and the My 2nd Birthday data is received around the 7th of the following month. All data is sent out as soon as it has been received and we keep their credit card details on file and debit their account with the amount before sending the leads through.
As soon as a studio signs up Click debits their account with their postcode fees and they are then sent a joining email which has the mailers attached as well as all of the information which they need in order to get themselves set up, such as the contact details for the printers we use and Picture bloc.
