The Speakers bio - Convention Schedule January 2018

Annie Armitage

Annie lives in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey with her husband Tony, and 17-year-old son, Peter.

Photography has played such a big part in her life for many years – even before she became a professional photographer. She has had many jobs during her life, including singer/songwriter, dressmaker, hotel management, and PA but didn’t find her true vocation until her son Peter was born in 2000. Constantly photographing him and people loving the results, encouraged her to follow her dream of being a full-time photographer.

Annie took the traditional route and gained a City & Guilds photography certificate, which led to a course at the LCC, University of Arts London. She finished the course in 2007 as one of the top students in her year and set up her family photography business at the start of the recession.

Since then, Annie has built a successful family lifestyle photography business with a strong brand presence in SW London from her home while still being able to be a mum to her son Peter.

Annie is an ambassador for Loxley Colour.

Convention testimonials This year's Convention will have a very positive impact on my business and I just know that I will be ready for more next year. I'm on a journey to a very nice place, it will take a while to get there and the hills are very steep. Get there I will and your input will have played a big part in the successes that lie ahead.
