The Speakers bio - Convention Schedule January 2018

Belinda Buxton

Belinda's first experience of First Aid was volunteering to be the First Aider in the workplace over 23 years ago. After completing the course, Belinda quickly realised the vital skills she had learnt during the course would quickly fade if not used or practiced on a regular basis and they were important, not only for the workplace but for family and friends if they needed them. Therefore Belinda became a volunteer with St John Ambulance and has remained an active First Aider for over 22 years attending public events ranging from the little village fetes to music festivals and County Shows with over 50,000 people in attendance.

Having been a qualified Commercial Trainer / Assessor with St John Ambulance for over 15 years, Belinda has gained an enormous amount of knowledge and experience in delivering First Aid training along with real-life use of these vital skills. Coupled with this knowledge and experience, Belinda hopes to share this with you which could potentially save a life.

Seminars presented by Belinda:

  1. Oh No! What Do I Do? - First Aid Knowledge for Photographers - Saturday 13th
