The Speakers bio - Convention Schedule January 2018
Jocelyn started her photography career when she was 16 years old… and no she’s not telling you how long ago that was.
Jocelyn’s mother told her to get a proper job when she left school so she became a nurse and then a midwife in Liverpool for 21 years! She decided a few years ago that she really wanted to follow her dream and she did 4 years at college getting distinctions in her HNC course.
Jocelyn then went on to further training with some of the best photography trainers in the country such as the Yerbury’s and Lovegrove to name just a couple. Jocelyn firmly believe that we can never stop learning… and there is always something new out there
Jocelyn feels very privileged to be mentored by and working with Damian McGillicuddy, and Olympus UK, as one of his Baby Whisperer’s in the Baby Whisperer academy teaching other photographers the art of newborn photography.
As a previous midwife she has a unique understanding of women’s bodies and how they feel at different times in their life, as a wife and mother she also has first hand experience of her own pregnancies and children.
Jocelyn is privileged and grateful to become a speaker and Judge for the Societies at the 2016 conventions and Monthly image competitions. She is also delighted and amazed that she has won 2 photographer of the year awards for Bump to Baby and Fine Art and Pictorial and have attained my ASWPP and FSWPP and LBPPA.
Sponsored by One Vision Imaging Ltd and The Flash Centre.

Convention testimonials It was a great pleasure and an honour being at the convention. I would like to thank you and Phil for believing in me and inviting me to speak at the convention for the 2nd time. I really enjoyed sharing my knowledge with the numerous delegates that have attended my sessions. I had such a great feedback that it sounds too good to be true. Furthermore, I would like to thank you for the 4 awards that I got at the convention. This experience will help me to work even harder for the coming competitions. Christopher Azzopardi
