Jakob Gronkjaer

Jakob owns and runs Danish Apple Photography with his wife Dasha, focusing predominantly on weddings, fitness and editorial work. Over the past five years, as well as operating in the UK, he has shot weddings and fashion work across Europe as well as photographing multiple world champion bodybuilders.
Jakob’s varied work focuses on capturing "wow!" moments with simple, effective techniques, and whether working with a single individual or large groups and has appeared in various print publications and across online social media.

As Brand Ambassador for Interfit Photographic, Jakob has been a speaker at the Birmingham NEC Photography Show for the last two years. As well as providing monthly community based photography skills sessions, he runs 1 to 1 training sessions aimed at supporting a photographers' development from basic to more advanced photographic and lighting skills.

Jakob is an active member of the Societies and has been a volunteer at the Convention for the past three years as well as a speaker in 2017.
