Shooting mainly family and baby portraits, James is also behind the project ‘A Portrait of a Wrestler’, shooting classical portraits of wrestlers from the UK and International scene. This project has won Fellowships with both the SWPP and the MPA.
As a trainer, James is one of the best kept secrets in the photographic industry. A firm believer in helping and offering knowledge, James’ training philosophy is built predominantly around sharing honest, real experiences. He provides relatable delivery that is mindful of day to day restrictions but also of the possibilities that every photographer can achieve, James’ seminars are among the most engaging you can attend. His training is as much of himself as it is of others, with one main goal in photographic development, to try and not to fear failure, because without fear, anything is possible.

Convention testimonials It was a great pleasure and an honour being at the convention. I would like to thank you and Phil for believing in me and inviting me to speak at the convention for the 2nd time. I really enjoyed sharing my knowledge with the numerous delegates that have attended my sessions. I had such a great feedback that it sounds too good to be true. Furthermore, I would like to thank you for the 4 awards that I got at the convention. This experience will help me to work even harder for the coming competitions. Christopher Azzopardi
