The Speakers bio - Convention Schedule January 2018
Steven Neeson is a multi Award Winning Wedding & Portrait Photographer based in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Steven entered, somewhat late, to the world of Photography aged thirty. His success came very early on in his career, he took the local wedding market by storm and was shooting seventy weddings per year within just three years of turning professional. Steven is very technically minded but first and foremost he is visually led. Steven’s talent lies in being creative in the most difficult of situations when the pressure is really on. He pushes himself to stay creative in his wedding photography, always trying to find new ideas and angles.
Steven draws inspiration from the people around him, their lives and emotions. It is his interest in raw emotive photography that led him to Wedding & Portrait Photography. He strives to capture those little moments that are priceless to the individual.
Steven sets himself apart with his use of off camera flash at weddings. He uses film and fashion to influence his work massively and when combining these elements with off camera flash Steven can create cinematic, romantic and timeless pieces of art on any wedding Day.
Since 2013, in his home country of Northern Ireland, Steven has won multiple awards in Wedding, Portrait & Commercial Photography. In the last year he has become an ambassador for Phottix and joined the Phottix Pro Team in the UK & Ireland. Regularly speaking at events and Workshops across the UK and Ireland, Steven loves to help other photographers hone in on their talents.
In a short space of time Steven has built a successful Photography business. He thrives when pushing himself to be more creative and learn new techniques. Steven has utilised every day and made it count when developing his style and business.
