He has twice been awarded “UK Wedding Photographer of the Year.

With a large helping of humour, he will offer encouragement to those new to photography and a fresh approach to more established Wedding photographers.

What Judges Look For – How to be Successful in Print Competitions.

Entering Print Competitions can be daunting but ultimately rewarding.

Dennis has been an International Judge for 6 Years. He will first explain the rules and format of competition and then go on to give insight to the thought processes of Judges with reference to winning prints. He will also critique his own Award pictures as well as his “spectacular “ failures!!!
This talk concludes with a demonstration of how simple Photoshop can produce an image that will catch the Judges eye.

Photo Quote: Simply look with perceptive eyes at the world about you, and trust to your own reactions and convictions. Ask yourself: "Does this subject move me to feel, think and dream? Can I visualize a print - my own personal statement of what I feel and want to convey - from the subject before me? -Ansel Adams
