I have an easygoing nature and aim to capture the true character of the subject. My style is observational and I especially enjoy working with children and small groups. My greatest strengths: I'm trustworthy, open and approachable. I'm focused on exceeding my clients' expectations and am conscientious in my work. I have an eye for detail and like using it! I have been in photography: I worked for two years as an underwater videographer before spending several months building a library of travel stock images. I have shot weddings, portraits and commercial work part-time for two years. How I got started in photography: My 10+ years in Marketing and Advertising helped me develop a creative eye but it wasn't until I spent two years working in Asia as an underwater videographer that I really pushed my camera skills to the next level. My photographic skills: Natural-light portraits. Travel photography. Small groups. Weddings. I have a background in Marketing and Advertising within a Corporate environment and fully understand the creative process. My personality: Easygoing, personable and focused. Creative, trustworthy and committed. Geographic areas I cover: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and the surrounds. Success in photography: Runner-up in the Wanderlust and Independent newspaper Travel Photo of the Year awards (2008). Other prizes from National newspapers for Travel images including Sunday Times Travel magazine. My interests outside photography: Scuba diving. Film.
