David ‘dp’ Attard’s main area of photographic focus is music photography. He strives on the challenge of creating promotion images for singers and bands as well as capturing their live performances on stage. David describes live music photography as not just about capturing the moment. “Working under low light and ever changing light conditions, finding a viewpoint where the singer or the band look their best while trying to be original is challenging, live music photography is all about observation and studying the light, concentration, preemption and split second reaction while keeping a steady hand,” he declares. David’s live music photography and promotional images for bands and singers are regularly published in Maltese national newspapers, magazines, websites and CDs.
