Louise Beale has an Exhibition here. Type business: Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: My style is personal yet artistic with a modern & contemporary feel. My photography is mainly inspired by people, that one off expression, the sparkle of an eye, recording an event as a succession of magical moments. My greatest strengths: I am a people person, which I guess is why I like to photograph people most. I can direct in a polite but assertive manner to get the best shots for you. I have been in photography: I have been taking photos for many years as a result of personal requests and finally set up my photography business in 2010. How I got started in photography: My first recollection of a love of photography is all down to my dad s artistic photos of me as a baby in my mum s arms. Photos have always held a spark of magic and I would pore for hours over the family albums. In my late thirties, after many years as an enthusiastic amateur (and frequently delighted by the reaction of others to my photography) I finally decided to turn it into a business. My photographic skills: Working with people to achieve shots that myself and the client are happy with. Using focus and depth of field to make a shot artistic as well as informative. Obviously the ability to light the shot well is a fundamental skill. I am also able to offer a bespoke wedding website service, allowing all the information on your wedding to be in one place for reference and an easy method of RSVP etc. My personality: I am enthusiastic and I have the self confidence to get the best out of the subject matter, without being overconfident. I am friendly and work in a professional manner to ensure that the client is comfortable and happy with the results. Geographic areas I cover: I am based in South Warwickshire, but right on the border with Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire so ideally placed to cover each of these three counties. Venues I frequently attend: To keep my photography fresh I would rather not stick to a limited number of venues, however for weddings I find that civil venues offer a more relaxed day for the wedding party without rushing from venue to venue. I found inspiration from: Aside from all great photography, I am greatly inspired by the work of Russ Pullen, level11photography.com.au Success in photography: Personal pride and satisfied customers! I have not yet aspired to competitions or qualifications. Photographic training: In my opinion the best education in photography is experience. Whilst I am not formally trained, I have taken short courses in basic DSLR cameras technology to ensure that I can get the best out of the camera. The key to photography is composition which I believe should come naturally. I hope that my gallery reflects this. My interests outside photography...: Scrapbooking and Hovercraft Racing (organisation and administration as well as participation) Major events: I have a great husband and two fabulous children. Michelle Louise was calm and professional and made us feel immediately at ease. She provided a range of examples of shots that might work for us so we could immediately see what the options were and choose the looks we wanted. Unlike many photographers she was also happy to let us make our own creative suggestions for shots we would like. She coped especially well with an over-tired toddler who didn't t want his photos taken and everyone who has seen our pictures agrees the results are incredible!
