Katherine Beesley has an Exhibition here. Type business: Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: As an artist I can vary my style according to the influences of my customers need. However my personal influences dictate a balance between Classic Hollywood, Victoriana and Modern Digital Techniques. My greatest strengths: Image composition and lighting. I have been in photography: 20 years. How I got started in photography: Inspired by a family friend and fabulous photographer Robert Lapworth, I picked up a camera as a teenager & followed local bands, friends and artists. My photographic skills: Design, props making, lighting, customer service and the ability to recreate the imagery a customer requires after an artistic consultation. My personality: Open and friendly with a good sense of humour! Geographic areas I cover: East Sussex Venues I frequently attend: The Royal Pavillion, Kipling Gardens and Rottingdean beach. I found inspiration from: Books, books and more books!....from Milton, Keats, Poe, Dante Alghieri & Oscar Wilde to philosophy, history, art & spirituality. Created to give women & men a relaxing experience, with a tailor made photography boutique 'The Artisans Boutique' for a full range of services (including make-up, hair, props & corsetry hire) to create timeless & memorable works of art. I am looking to expand the art gallery and photography boutique into France in the next few years. I also produce a bi-annual magazine/e-zine The Elegant Savages, there are plans to put this out worldwide in the near future.
