Type business: Full Time Professional My photographic style: Relaxed, informal observational photography My greatest strengths: Friendly and approachable, I aim to work with the client to get the best results from their shoot, whether wedding, family portrait or business portraiture I have been in photography: 2 years How I got started in photography: A hobby photographer since the age of 18 I realised that this combined with my skills as a teacher could make a great combination for relating to people and taking photographs of what people really do in their life My photographic skills: A flair for observing interactions allows me to anticipate shots and be in the right place to capture the images My personality: Calm, friendly and amenable. This is particularly helpful in wedding work as I can blend in or be a calming influence when things get busy. Geographic areas I cover: Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, Wilshire. Venues I frequently attend: Outdoor venues where people have space to relax and express themselves. I like anywhere that the subjects feel at ease and comfortable. My interests outside photography: Travel, the great outdoors, gardening, scuba diving, music (in no particular order) Major events: Getting married and having children really made me wonder if there was more to life than full-time teaching and prompted a new business.
