I have been a professional photographer for over 12 years, covering news, features and sport for many regional and national newspapers and magazines. I worked for 6 years as a senior staff photographer at the Yorkshire Evening Press in York which was the largest regional newspaper in the UK. After leaving the newspaper in 2003 I set up
my own business in York doing Weddings Portraits and Press & PR photography, which I maintained for three years before moving to Derby where I worked for a short while as a staff photographer on The Derby Telegraph, and have now re- established my business and settled!

I have gained many photographic qualifications including an NCTJ (National Council for the Training of Journalists) Press Photography Certificate, a BTEC National Diploma in Media Studies, and a Level 4 National Vocational Qualification in Newspaper Journalism (Press Photography), GCSE Photography and Art & Design. Most recently, I have qualified as a licentiate member of the British Institute of Professional Photography in the wedding photography category, and now an LSWPP member.

I carry the necessary public liability and professional indemnity insurances
as every professional wedding photographer should. So you can be sure of a
