Type business: Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: If you look through my wedding photographs you will see that I have documented the day and have rarely posed any of my subjects. I stand back and let the day unfold - and capture it! I use natural lighting practically always - resorting to the flash only if absolutely necessary! With portrait photography - rain or shine - I always use the ambient light and enjoy playing with backgrounds and available light. My greatest strengths: Putting my subjects at ease and building a rapport, which often leads to lasting friendships! I have been in photography: Always - but professionally for the last five years. How I got started in photography...: My Dad gave me a box camera when I was 5 ..... I traveled a lot of the world in my 20s with my first SLR (set on auto!) ..... in my 30s I decided to work it out and went on to study for 5 years .... in my 40s I thought I would start to use my camera(s) professionally! My personality: Friendly and welcoming, happy to meet most types of people who cross my path. Flexible enough to make sure that my clients enjoy their experience and get the most from it. Geographic areas I cover: South West England - based in Bath. Happy to travel anywhere! Venues I frequently attend: Old country houses, beautiful countryside, junk yards, back streets .... anywhere can be made interesting! I found inspiration from: I take great joy in presenting photographs that thrill my clients. Success in photography: City and Guilds, HNC and HND (distinctions in most categories) Photographic training: Life! My interests outside photography: My young family, my husband and quirky labrador take up a lot of my time! Traveling where possible..... I play a lot of tennis to relax my mind and keep my body going! Testimonials: On my website!
