Growing up surrounded by sweeping landscapes and rugged coastline of Cornwall. My photography reflects my passion for scenic beauty. This appreciation for landscape images spread to a love also of close up and macro photography.

As part of studying for my ARPS , I became very skilled in traditional darkroom work. Producing fine monochrome prints on Fibre papers to exhibition standard.

These skills were very useful in transferring my knowledge into the newer and exciting world of digital photography.

My photography includes wedding and portraiture, Offering a combination of relaxed formal or photojournalistic images.

I try to adopt a natural approach stepping back to allow people especially children to relax. That is often the time when you get the magical moments.

Lately I am being asked more often to record the wedding day purely in reportage style. This is a fantastic way to capture the essence of the day, I thought the photography interrupting the flow or those wonderful moments of family and friends enjoying being together.
