Conor Heffernan has an Exhibition here. Conor Heffernan photographer based in Dublin Ireland Type business: Full Time Professional My photographic style: I have no idea how to describe my own style. My greatest strengths: I am honest, trustworthy and a perfectionist. I have been in photography: 4 1/2 years, I took redundancy at the end of 2009 in order to pursue my photography on a full time basis. How I got started in photography: I bought a DSLR and soon became both fascinated and obsessed by all things photographic. I love the fact that no matter how hard I study, I will never know all there is to know about photography. My photographic skills: I can mix ambient & flash light in a variety of situations to create soft, directional light on my subjects. I understand the way light works which allows me to adapt my shooting style and cope with any situation that might arise. My personality: Outgoing and friendly, passionate, fiery and determined. Geographic areas I cover: At the moment, Dublin city and county. I hope to extend my range as my business grows. I found inspiration from: Photographers who are masters of light, be it natural or flash. Some of the photographers whose styles I admire and have studied are Alex Van Niekirk, David Hobby, Joe McNally, Damien Lovegrove & Zak Arias Success in photography: I won the Novice photographer of the year in my local camera club in 2008 and came second in the intermediate section 2009. Photographic training: I have spent 100's of hours studying various techniques in both photography and post processing. It is an ongoing My interests outside photography: Computers and music Why I like the SWPP: I like all the business tips that can be picked up from the other experienced members. I find it invaluable to be able to draw upon the vast experience of well established and talented photographers. Tagline: Photography chose me, not the other way around. Future plans: I would like to keep developing both my photographic and business skills, and be able to deliver work to my clients that I am proud of on a consistent basis. I want to develop my own style and become a top class wedding and portrait photographer. I have a lot to learn, but the learning process is something I really enjoy and get great pleasure from producing good photographs. Some day, I want to be able to produce great ones.
