My love of photography began in the early 60's when I borrowed a friends camera to take some photographs at my sister's wedding. I was intrigued at the antics of the official photographer when trying to pose everyone and I thought to myself 'Why is he making it so difficult for himself?' When the day came to view the wedding album, everyone was so disappointed in the results. My sister asked me for my photographs as she felt they reflected her day perfectly. From that day onwards I was hooked. After many years, two City and Guild's in Photography (both with Distinction) and several cameras later, I started taking Wedding Photographs on a professional level. My wife Sally and I recently moved northwards and are now setting up a new Wedding Photography business in the heart of the Lake District, 'Beautiful Brides.'
