Type business: Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: Relaxed, informal, and fun, whilst creating timeless images My greatest strengths: To get on well with people from all walks of life, personable, helpful, friendly and reliable I have been in photography: 32 years How I got started in photography: Started with an Olympus Trip 35mm film camera in 1980, which I part exchanged for an Olympus OM10 (which I still have) in 1982. I took pictures in a job that took me all over the world. In 1987 I moved to California and went to music school in Hollywood between 1987 and 1990, and photographed several well known musicians. Returning to the UK in 1991, I worked for a survival equipment manufacturer and undertook product photography for catalogues and brochures over the next 9 years. Eventually, I moved into construction and architectural photography, which led to starting a portrait photography business. My personality: Professional, friendly and well organised. Geographic areas I over: South, Mid & West Wales and the West Country Venues I frequently attend: Love outdoor locations with architectural features and landscapes I found inspiration from: Working with happy people Success in photography: Licentiate of The Master Photographers Association, Finalist in the 2012 Fujifilm National MPA Wedding and Portrait Awards. Also a finalist in the 2012 Welsh Region MPA Portrait Category. Paul has previously won an Award of Excellence with the British Institute of Professional Photography, Affiliate Category 2011 for Portraiture, and was a Winner in the 2010 Cardiff Photo Marathon, "Old School" Category.
