Brendan Lyon Photographer providing photographic services in Clonakilty County Cork Type business: Full Time Professional My photographic style: Relaxed and friendly with gentle persuasion when required. My greatest strengths: Patience I have been in photography: Over twenty years How I got started in photography: I got a Nikon FE SLR as a present for my 21st. My photographic skills: Photoshop expert, each portrait and wedding photograph is put through a manual post production process. I've got great patience which I sometimes need when shooting children and weddings - Simon goes off to fetch Dave and the missing bridesmaid, Dave then wanders back, "Where's Simon gone?"..... My personality: Everybody says "Friendly and relaxed", so that's a bit of a cliche. Let's just say that I'm an affable character with a strong, professional backbone and a goal focused nature. Geographic areas I cover: Ireland, although I have shot in the UK and I have a wedding booked in Poland for June 2010 Venues I frequently attend: Bright ones! Nothing worse than a poorly lit and badly laid out room. Still, nothing like a challenge, eh? I found inspiration from: Greta Art Success in photography: Licentiate in SWPP and Licentiate in the Irish Professional Photographers Association Photographic training: Adobe Photoshop, numerous seminars and lectures, and some old courses in Cibachrome and B&W film development.
