Type business: Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: We take a natural approach to our photography and styling with a blend of fashionable elegance and fine-art photojournalism. My greatest strengths: I'm sensitive to colours and have good taste in beauty & art. I'm friendly and easygoing, and have ways to help my clients relax during photo shoots. I have been in photography: Two years and half. How I got started in photography: I graduated from college, specialising in makeup and hair styling, but my passion for photography motivated me to work in a photography studio for weddings. As an assistant photographer there for a year, I also worked with other photographers for countless pre-wedding photo sessions on location and learnt how to post-process photographs. Incidentally, I was able to change my path to become a stylist for TV commercial and media. Having worked in such an environment, I had the opportunities to work with many professional fashion photographers and picked up a lot of practical skills from them in terms of the appreciation of beauty and lighting techniques. My photographic skills: photography, makeup, hairstyling, wardrobe styling My personality: friendly, bubbly, organised, responsible, reliable, artistic Geographic areas I cover: All over the UK and overseas Venues I frequently attend: Countryside (e.g. Seven Sisters) and London centre (e.g. Big Ben, London Eye) I found inspiration from: Excellent photographer Karl Lagerfeld, former Chanel designer Success in photography: We were honoured to be invited onto BBC Radio Surrey and to write some articles concerning photography and styling for The Epoch Times Photographic training: I graduated from college, specialising in makeup and hair styling, but my passion for photography motivated me to work in a photography studio for weddings. My interests outside photography...: fashion, writing, reading, giving a speech, sharing my experience with others, makeup & styling (19 years of experience) Major events: When I was 32, I left my family and friends and my job in Taiwan. I left everything behind and wanted to start over fresh. So I came to the UK all alone. On the first day after I arrived, I met a kind and helpful girl, Ellie, who also happened to come from Taiwan! We instantly became good friends. We travelled and worked together in Scotland, enjoying a different kind of lifestyle we had never experienced before. After a year in the UK, I met John, my English husband. John is a total English gentleman, my best friends and my one and only soulmate. The photoshoot took almost the whole day, but you made it so cheerful and easy that even John who had a fear of having a photoshoot before felt at ease.
