Type business: Semi Professional Photographer My photographic style: My style of photography is relaxed, unobtrusive photo-reportage, capturing your wedding day as it unfolds. As for portraiture I prefer working on location, using available light and taking advantage of the world around us. I love using colour walls and the variety of texture backgrounds you can find everywhere in the city. My greatest strengths: I think you can learn all the technical aspects of photography but the eye for the composition, detail, easiness to communicate with other people and ability of using the available backgrounds is something a training cannot buy. I have been in photography: I have been taken photos since I was a teenager but took it more seriously only a few years ago. How I got started in photography: My sister had an old Russian film camera "Smiena" and since the day I first hold it in my hands I knew I would be hooked. My personality: I am easy going, friendly person who loves working with people. Geographic areas I cover: Scotland, UK, worldwide Success in photography: I am a member of Edinburgh Photographic Society. One of my photographs was used for a poster for an Exhibition organised by The Royal Botanical Gardens in Scotland. My interests outside photography: I love white chocolate, travelling and gorillas - not necessarily in that order.
