Polis Varnava Photographer in Limassol Cyprus Full Time Professional My photographic style: my style is excitement, fantasy, fun, quality, consistency all together that make photography my passion. I always want to learn and create more. After all an image is 1000 words. You must "search for these words" before you take a photo and that makes want to crate "stories" with my photography. My greatest strengths: my greatest strengths are my family. My dad died from cancer but he fought for too long. From that day I learned to fight for the best and try to beat every problem I used to have. Photography makes me forget all my problems, it fulfils me and gives me hope for the future to come. I have been in photography: I’ve been a photographer since I remember my self when i was shooting with my dad who was an amateur photographer. But I adapted his passion and made it a profession. Now I am a professional photographer for 5 years. How I got started in photography...: when I was 6 years old I took my first photo. from then I started shooting photos every day. At the age of 12 I started judging my own photos, find the rights and wrongs fix the lighting problems and then re shooting. I bought lots of books about photography, lighting (ambient, studio strobes etc) from amazon. those books made me better and better everyday. I will not stop reading them until I die. After all none is perfect, so everyday we have to learn more and more. My photographic skills: My eyes always see the right time to click the shutter button. I always see the image done before I even click the shutter. So my ability to realize moments like passion enthusiasm love makes it my key skill. Another ability is my knowledge about lighting , about off camera strobes most of the times (2-4 strobes) and using the ambient light in the right situation with the right camera settings makes it second ability. And last ability is the confidence I send to my customers, I always make them feel good before I take my photo. My personality: Romantic, sometimes angry and anxious, passionate about photography. Geographic areas I cover: Worldwide I found inspiration from: Jerry Ghionis, Martin Shembri, Ryan Schembri, Joe Buissnik David Backstead Yervant and Monte Zucker (for my studio photography)i always try to get inspired from the best, so one day I can be the best. Success in photography: I won more than 150 competitions in forums , in national photographic competitions. Photographic training: Graduated from Sotheby's institute of art in New York and took my masters degree in 2006. My interests outside photography...: Fast Cars, Rowing, Graphics Design Why I like the SWPP BPPA: The warm community! Tagline: your dream is our specialty...
