FUJIFILM Corporation is pleased to announce the development of a new silver halide photographicpaper, the next generation Fujicolor Crystal Archive Album High Definition Paper. Thenew paper includes an advanced anti-blocking technology, especially for usage in hotand humid conditions, and can be used in the full range of minilab printing equipment.
In areas with high temperature and humidity conditions, photographic paper needs to belaminated for usage in Photobook production, otherwise the photo surfaces may sticktogether block during regular use by the photo consumer. By making use of this newpaper, lamination is not necessary and productivity for album production can beimproved.
This newly developed paper incorporates a special technology that reduces curling andmakes this paper extremely attractive for retailers to offer as an over-the-countersolution for creating photo books more quickly and easily.
This new paper retains the 'Finger Print Protection' technology first introduced with thefirst generation Fujicolor Crystal Archive Album High Definition Paper that greatlyimproves the handling and subsequent long-term enjoyment for consumers' Photobooks.This fingerprint protection technology ensures that consumers need no longer worryabout having smudged fingerprints on the surface of photographs.
Fujicolor Crystal Archive Album High Definition Paper will be available in twothicknesses 170-micron Photobook paper and 210-micron standard paper, which can beused for both Photobook production and regular photographic prints. Multiple surfacetypes Glossy/Lustre/Matte will be available for both types of paper.
