Newly produced videos showing how to simply and inexpensively create large wall displays using inkjet print tiling are now available free on the Marrutt website www.marrutt.com/tiling There is a two minute introduction video, which explains this new speedy method of accurately cropping images to Photoshop guides and auto-printing each tile, which makes the whole operation much quicker and super-accurate.
There is also an in-depth 15 minute video showing how to do print tiling in Photoshop and a three minute video showing how to lay out and prepare a wall for pasting A4 prints originated from a single DSLR image.
John Read at Marrutt Digital has created large tiled wall displays in his offices from A4 and A3 inkjet prints, which are shown in the videos. Many amateur and pro photographers who have visited us recently have taken up this idea. We are selling a large amount of our heavyweight 300gsm Pearl inkjet paper, which is just right for this purpose. It gives a smooth, hard-wearing finish. There are not many really heavyweight Pearl inkjet papers on the market, so we are benefitting greatly from extra sales of this paper as a result of the growing interest in tiled wall displays, reported John Read.
