DxO Labs' video processing technology delivers video stabilization experience to Moto-X users

DXO Labs, a global leader in mobile imaging IP, is pleased to announce that it has licensed to Motorola its DxO EIS video stabilization technology solution

The visual quality of a video is driven by a number of factors, and above all, stability is critical explains Jrme Mnire, CEO of DxO Labs. DxO EIS technology provides clear and smooth video recording with 'steadycamed' image stabilization comparable to traditional camcorder devices without the use of mechanical parts. We are therefore extremely proud at DxO Labs to offer Motorola mobile phone users a true HD video capture experience.

DxO EIS addresses two primary issues with smartphone video shaking video, introduced by hand movement, or by walking while recording, as well as the jello effect resulting from progressive frame acquisition with CMOS sensors.

DxO EIS supports video resolutions of up to 1080p Full HD at 60 frames/second on any standard application processor through its ultra-low computational requirements.
