The LockCircle camera body cap is made from a solid chunk of aluminium billet aluminium and locks into the camera body bayonet in the same way a lens does; safe, secure and preventing dust and liquids from entering.
The knurled edge and the exclusive finger-fit design provides a secure grip in every situation, and regardless of the weather conditions the videographer or photographer is working in. Whether cold, wet, sweaty fingers or gloves, a secure grip is assured.
The LockCircle camera body cap is machined from solid billet aluminium and features a sanded, textured surface with a clear or black anodized finish. A Titanium version will also be available soon.
The high precision bayonet mount locks the cap in position with a Swiss watch feeling, providing a tight seal from dust or moisture.
To remove the LockCircle, the locking pin button on the camera has to be pressed and the cap can be removed, exactly like a lens.
The aluminium bayonet has a hardener and porosity occlusion treatment to make it last forever, without any release of particles inside the camera body, unlike plastic, injection moulded body caps.
Comprehensive testing has been carried out by the manufacturer to insure no contact is made with the electrical contact pins of the camera.
LockCircle is more than a camera body cap, it is a serious camera body locking device for professional users in video and stills production.
LockCircle Aluminium Camera Body Caps are £57.50 ex Vat, £69.00 inc. Vat

These caps are not cheap, we realise that But one thing is certain manufacturing them is a lot more complicated than injecting some plastic into a mould. This behind-the-scenes video shows how the cap is crafted out of solid billet aluminium in 79 different steps. Ordinary plastic body caps should suffice for most DSLR owners, but there are many pros in stills and video production who need the extra sealing for harsh environments and the secure handling facility this product gives.
