Over the last two years, PermaJet have seen a substantial increase in people wanting to learn about how to get the very best from their images and printing devices, states Louise Hill, the new Academy Head. The school is based in an idyllic setting of Stratfordupon- Avon with off-site courses available in Dumfries and North Wales. Those who enrol on one of the courses will receive a complementary A3, 25 sheet pack of Gloss, Oyster or Matt paper from the
PermaJet Digital Photo range.
After a complete review of the School of Photography - which offered casual courses for those wanting to learn about the best production processes - the decision was made to expand the school in to a dedicated print academy.
''By doing this, we have been able to develop the courses we offer to fulfil the needs of Photographers at any level. The PermaJet Print Academy has a prospectus that we feel gives the best and most in depth courses available.'' Louise Hill, Academy Head.
Courses are just £60 and include Digital Printing, Fine Art Digital Black & White Printing, Colour Management, Photoshop for Photographers and Developing Your Lightroom Skills amongst others.
The courses provide special photographic training days conducted by well respected and highly knowledgeable lecturers, including Martin Addison who received several book commissions teaching Adobe Lightroom.
''The tutors provide instruction at a pace and level to suit the absolute beginner or those with more experience wishing to consolidate their knowledge. First class value and thoroughly recommended.'' - Keith Gilson, Amateur Photographer
