SnapBridge app, Android version, is now available

Nikon has released the Android version of the SnapBridge app, which enables constant connection of a compatible Nikon digital camera to a smart device1 using Bluetooth low energy technology

SnapBridge is an app that offers users a number of convenient services by utilising Bluetooth low energy technology to enable the seamless connection between a Nikon digital camera and a smart device, all while consuming very little power.

SnapBridge is available in iOS and Android versions, and can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store and Google Play. The iOS version of the app is scheduled to be available from the App Store later this summer.

SnapBridge will be a standard feature in almost every new Nikon camera from 2016 onwards, beginning with the Nikon D500 available in stores as of today.
