Nick Dale image entitled Bear about to catch salmon in mouth
The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers have announced the winners of the In the Wild Photography Competition.
For this competition we asked to see however you want to portray the wild world, whether it's wild animals to wild weather.
Nick Dale from London, England was chosen as 1st and 2nd place from over 240 images entered in to the competition.
Nick has won 18 months membership to The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers SINWP organisation a pair of Tasco binoculars plus a .photo lens clip.
Nick explains his 1st place image ''Thanks, that's great A brown bear with shaggy, brown fur is about to catch a salmon in its mouth at the top of Brooks Falls, Alaska. The fish is only a few inches away from its gaping jaws. Shot with a Nikon D800 in Alaska, USA.

Nick explains his 2nd place image Elephant giving itself dust bath on hillside, An elephant is throwing dust over itself with its trunk on a bare earth slope with trees in the background under a blue sky. It has mud stains on its trunk, and the dust is exploding in a cloud against its wrinkled grey skin. Shot with a Nikon D810 in Chobe National Park in Botswana.

The 3rd place was awarded to Clive Greenland LSINWP from Wiltshire, England, with his image of the battling birds.
