The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers have announced the winners of the Animals in Action Photography Competition.
For this competition we asked to see all kinds of images that show us no matter what animal it is or whatever they are doing, we would like to see them in their natural habitat living out their daily lives.
John Hunt from Kent, England was chosen as the winner from over 430+ images entered in to the competition.
John has won 12 months membership to The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers (SINWP) organisation.
John tells us ''That’s great news thank you. The image was shot on a Canon 1DX with a Sigma 120-300 2.8 lens with x2 converter at 400.1/800 f8 800 ISO. It was taken in Danube Delta which is the second largest river Delta in Europe.''
Phil Jones, the Societies CEO says, ''We had a vast number of fantastic images in March and choosing a winner was a very difficult task, John’s image was chosen as the winner as the judges felt it captured the theme of competition perfectly.''
There are 2 runners up Elizabeth Howell from New South Wales and Peter Jones LSINWP from the Nottinghamshire both won 6 months memberships.
