Digital Splash Attracts Record Numbers at New Waterfront Venue

Wilkinson Cameras' annual show, Digital Splash, has proved a run away success in its new waterfront location, in the heart of the Liverpool docklands.

Photography enthusiasts flocked to the new weekend-long show, with more than 6200 visitors through the doors over the two days.

Wilkinson Photo Walks, hosted by a number of experienced pro photographers, were a complete sellout - 150 people (in total) joined shoots on fashion and lighting, street photography and outings to discover abstract photography among the eclectic mix of architecture old and new around the docks.

More than 1300 people enjoyed talks by the Main Stage speakers - which included guest speakers talking on a wide range of inspirational photographic subjects. With additional interviews taking with show host Damien Demolder, the centre stage was also busy, as was the iconic Camera Throne!

The winner of the Digital Splash Photographer of the Year was also announced, with Susan Berry voted the overall winner, with her entry to the Animal Kingdom category earlier in the year:

Judges comments included 'lovely black and white tones,' 'fantastic composition' and 'a real sense of tranquility.' Take a look at more of Sue's work at www.sueberryphotos.co.uk
