Fujifilm are pleased to announce that, with immediate effect, Theo Georghiades has been promoted to the position of General Manager for Fujifilm UK.
Theo joined Fujifilm as a Customer Service representative in 1999 and since then has fulfilled many roles within the company, most recently as Senior Business Manager, and has been integral to the UK success of Fujifilm’s X-Series range of cameras.
Proudly commenting on his new position, Theo said: ''I am delighted to be taking on this key role for Fujifilm. This is an exciting and highly competitive time for the camera industry, and I am convinced that with the support and hard work of the UK digital team, Fujifilm can reach ever greater heights.''
Adrian Clarke, Director, commented: ''I am convinced that with Theo’s strong leadership, and with the able support of the UK team, we will continue to drive sales and strengthen our position within the CSC market.''
In additional changes to the Fujifilm UK management structure, Chris Chater has been appointed to the newly created position of Instax Business Manager for UK and Europe. Chris, who joined Fujifilm in 2012, has been charged with continuing the rapid growth and development of the Instax brand.
Finally, Fujifilm would like to introduce Andreas Georghiades as Marketing Manager, covering Lucy Edwards maternity leave. Andreas brings with him a wealth of knowledge, having worked previously for Fujifilm and Sony, and understands what is required within today’s camera market. He has quickly re-established himself within Fujifilm and the wider industry.
