The inclusion of high quality video on DSLR cameras has spawned new markets for both photographers and manufacturers. Kenro was quick to move into the video/camcorder accessories sector and has signed some significant new distribution agreements recently, meaning greater choice and affordability for photographers.
Kenro’s stand is always a lively place to meet knowledgeable staff and discuss the latest offerings, whether you are a dealer or consumer. This year will be no exception and Kenro’s managing director, Paul Kench, and his dedicated team, will be on hand to discuss and demonstrate all the new equipment.
Kenro are the exclusive distributors of a wide portfolio of products, including Sevenoak Camera Stabilization units, NanGuang LED Lighting, Saramonic Audio Accessories, Nissin Flash, Takeway Clampods, Marumi Filters, Braun Binoculars, Reflecta A/V equipment and Kenair, as well as a growing range of own-branded Kenro tripods and monopods. And, let’s not forget their ever-popular Kenro album and frame ranges!
A number of new lines are being launched in 2016, many of which will be on the Kenro stand - including sliders, stabilizers, camera cages, lighting, microphones and audio adapters.
Over the last year Kenro has been working hard, using industry feedback, to develop its own range of high quality Camera and Video tripods and monopods. Users can expect to get a lot for their money - great quality, plenty of cool features, 6-year limited warranty, kit bags, etc.
Split into three ranges, they include ‘Kenro Video Tripods & Monopod’, with two of the heads sold separately if required. Of particular note is the high quality fluid action of the heads that also have very good load bearing capacity.
Designed with the traveller in mind, the ‘Kenro Standard Travel Tripod and Monopod Kits’ are light and durable and comprise two models - one with 4 leg sections and the other 5; the larger of which also converts into a monopod.
The ‘Kenro Professional Travel Tripod Kits’ are extremely versatile; they expand on the Standard range with additional features, and also have the ability for the legs to be folded back 180 degrees for compactness. One of the legs from each model also converts into a handy monopod, plus centre columns of two different lengths are supplied for greater flexibility.
Kenro is also announcing that it is now the official UK and Ireland distributor for two innovative brands new to the market. NanGuang specialises in continuous LED lighting, while Saramonic are a market leader in camera audio devices.
The NanGuang range includes compact flat panel LED lights, Fresnel lights, portable lighting boxes, and product photography kits.
The Saramonic product range includes a selection of camera microphones, audio mixers and adapters for DSLR cameras and camcorders.
Kenro is also the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor of Sevenoak’s wide range of camera stabilizers, sliders, cages, support rigs, viewers and panoramic heads – all of which will be on display at the exhibition.
Launched into the market last year, the Takeway Clampod range has now been expanded to include a new mini clamp, plus additional accessories are now available.
Finally, an extremely handy Kenro Universal Charger is being launched that charges AA, AAA, many types of camera battery packs, as well as digital cameras and smartphones via USB 2.0. It also includes a car charger adapter. Definitely one for the camera bag!
Says Paul Kench, Kenro's managing director: ''These are very exciting times for our industry and I don’t think Kenro has ever announced so many new products at one show. We are really looking forward to showing our new ranges and I’m confident dealers will be proud to offer such innovative and interesting accessories to their customers.''
