Malcolm tells us '' Thanks for the good news about the win. Date 1st July, 2016 at Zimanga Game reserve near Mkuze in KwaZulu Natal, RSA. It was taken just after 6:00 am after a dry spell which produced the dust in the shot. It was taken on my Canon 5D Mk3 and the Canon 100-400mm Mk2 lens at 400mm. Exposure was 1/500 at f8 and 640 ISO.’’
Phil Jones, the Societies CEO says, ''Augusts’ competition saw some great images of animals and plant life in their natural environment. Malcolm’s image was chosen as the winner as it captured the theme brilliantly’’
