Ruth is a landscape photographer who has gained national recognition which includes much work from Suffolk and Norfolk. Her portfolio is a mix of both classic and abstract images depicting some of the most inspirational landscapes in the UK and beyond. While Ruth’s website is extensive with galleries from different locations and with different themes, Ruth is a firm believer in printing high quality photographs which the viewer can come back to time and time again to draw inspiration from and enjoy. The exhibition focuses on the interplay between the elements eg. air, water, as they transform the landscape. The photographs will show how the elements influence not only the physicality of the landscape but also our emotional response to it.
The viewer is invited to immerse themselves in the landscapes, experiencing the drama and subtlety of ephemeral coastal dawns, mountainous storms, fine frosts on winter grasses and fiery sunsets. Ruth has managed to capture the essence of light as it changes throughout the seasons and from dawn to dusk.
Each photo is printed on a fine art art paper and is framed with anti reflective glass ready to hang. Copies of prints are also available to order.
The exhibition runs from the 18th to 24rd October 10-5pm at The Aldeburgh gallery 143 High StreetAldeburgh 01728 454168 Enquiries 01728 452772 Gallery.Contact https://aldeburghgallery.co.uk
