I recently had the great pleasure of leading All About Weddings, a weekend workshop for beginner-to-intermediate photographers wanting to improve their business, photography and creative skills in this exciting field.

This intensive, hands-on workshop included two photo sessions in addition to lots of practical lessons shared. One of the sessions was an engagement session and the other a bridal portrait.

Knowing how challenging and exhilarating it can be to work with people I often only get the opportunity to meet on the day of the session, I demonstrated to the class how I work with clients from the initial call to the day of the session.

To make things even more real, our engagement session was of a newly
engaged couple who I had never worked with before. Jeni and Mike were
awesome as they presented an opportunity to create some wicked, cool
portraits with their selection of rock-inspired clothing, leather boots
and funky fashion sense.
