29/09/10

Lightweight and Rugged Camera Support

Calumet Photographic is proud to announce its new 8000 Series line of 8x carbon fiber tripods and monopods. These extremely lightweight and rugged camera supports are the perfect field companion for today’s serious outdoor and action photographer.

Lighter and stronger than their standard aluminum counterparts, these amazing camera supports feature non-compromising 8x (eight layers) of carbon fiber construction that provides the maximum strength and stability at the minimum weight. Non-slip rubber leg locks offer fast and secure height adjustments. In addition to providing superior support and portability, they also offer quick setup, smooth operation, and positive locking once in place. By utilizing the highest quality materials and simplest engineering techniques, they are designed to perform dependably under the most demanding of circumstances and conditions.

Each Calumet 8000 Series 8x Carbon Fiber Tripod features a grooved center column with a spring-loaded weight hook for added stability, three foam leg covers for over-the-shoulder carrying comfort and rubber feet with retractable stainless steel spikes.

Each Calumet 8000 Series 8x Carbon Fiber Tripod and Monopod come with a convenient carrying case with shoulder strap and an impressive five-year limited parts-and-labor warranty.

Photo Quote: The use of the term art medium is, to say the least, misleading, for it is the artist that creates a work of art not the medium. It is the artist in photography that gives form to content by a distillation of ideas, thought, experience, insight and understanding. - Edward Steichen
