Jarcom Ltd announces launch of McRoy Digital long range wireless power panner head for cameras
Jarcom Ltd, incorporated in 2007, specialists in motorised power panner
heads for photographers and videographers, have been recognised by USA
manufacturer McRoy Digital as one of the UK’s leading and growing
specialists in this field and have been awarded exclusive rights to
distribute the MDRP360 to Europe, Middle East, Australia, Asia, & Africa.
Imagine - you need to operate your DSLR or video camera at a different
location to where you are. You would like to have the camera viewfinder in
your hand and press fire at will – then change the camera position and shoot
again. Well, this is available now as a first to market camera accessory -
the MDRP360 hosting a price/performance package not found anywhere else.
Owner and managing director of Jarcom Ltd, Jeremy Rose, says: “We have been
waiting for a product of this power for some years now and had even
considered developing one ourselves due to a huge gap in the market and
customer demand, but thankfully McRoy Digital saved the day by launching a
long range feature rich and programmable wireless panner”.
Joe Roy, the founder of McRoy Digital says: “We are proud to appoint Jarcom
as our sole representative for the Eastern Hemisphere. This exciting
opportunity not only provides a valuable sales channel, but also a working
relationship in developing the product range with their established
expertise in the growing power panner market“.
The MDRP360 is available now and has a number of unique features not found
on any other motorised power panner: 433MHz radio controlled 300’
operational range using the remote wireless handset, 2.4GHz wireless audio
video monitor so you can see what the camera sees, full 360 rotation with
tilt, focus lock and fire buttons, programmable (angle, bracket and time)
tour mode for automatic interval shooting through a set number of degrees
and McRoy Digital’s unique Express Pan® which allows simple set up to ensure
the correct number of shots are automatically taken for panoramic scenes.
Other features include: self test on power up, 7 LED user interface panel
for visual plus audio feedback of command instructions, power saving and
auto sleep mode to conserve battery life (up to 100 hours with 4
rechargeable AA type), 21 command set from the remote handset and a USB
adaptor port for user upgradeable firmware of new features (requires USB
interface module).
Accompanying accessories that will go on sale at the same time include AV
and control cables for different camera support, Infra Red support module,
spare remotes, portrait bracket and USB system interface module. Other
accessories for the MDRP360 will follow soon.
This product is an essential tool for the property and estate agents market
where the camera can be mounted high on, say, a 60’ elevated mast and
operated remotely for panoramic landscape shots or set in the middle of a
room for 360⁰ room scenes. However, it is also suitable for many other forms
of photography such as surveying, wildlife, sports, portraits, weddings,
events and studio.
Priced at £699.95 plus VAT, the MDRP360 will be available from Jarcom’s
website www.jarcom.co.uk
and they are currently talking to a number of well known high street
retailers who have shown considerable interest in stocking the product.
Potential overseas resellers should get in contact with Jarcom Ltd directly.
