Kodak Packs Personality and Pizazz into New EASYSHARE TOUCH, MINI and SPORT Cameras

Eastman Kodak Company today announced several new additions to its EASYSHARE Digital Camera portfolio that let you easily capture and share life’s moments wherever and whenever they happen – whether at home, on a night out or having fun on the beach. As Kodak commemorates the sale of its 100 millionth digital camera in early 2011 – and the billions of KODAK MOMENTS shared around the world – these product introductions reinforce the company’s commitment to ongoing innovation that helps people stay connected.

“Kodak has a digital camera to fit every lifestyle,” said Phil Scott, Vice President of Marketing, Digital Capture and Devices, Kodak. “Whether you want to capture and relive your daughter’s first birthday party, the concert with your friends, or a day at the beach, Kodak cameras are the perfect companions for life’s moments. And with the Share Button – that only Kodak has – you can tag your pictures or videos directly on the camera for automatic upload to your favorite social networking sites, email and the KODAK PULSE Frame when you connect to your computer.”


Featuring the company’s exclusive Share Button, Kodak offers the world’s only digital cameras with 3-step sharing1 making it easy for you to email your pictures to friends and the KODAK PULSE Digital Frame, and upload them to popular social networking sites including FACEBOOK, TWITTER, YOUTUBE, KODAK Gallery, FLICKR, and ORKUT and YANDEX. Kodak cameras also tag to the largest number of social networks and allow you to simultaneously share to multiple social networks and email using the Share Button.2

KODAK EASYSHARE TOUCH Camera

Show off your pictures and your style with the KODAK EASYSHARE TOUCH Camera featuring a 3-inch high resolution capacitive touchscreen LCD. It also features a dedicated video record button that makes it simple to take 720p HD video that you can edit and share right on the camera. The EASYSHARE TOUCH Camera also has an auto organisation feature that sorts by people, date, keywords and videos so it’s easy to find the moments you want to share. You can even customise a caption directly on the camera to be uploaded with your picture when it’s shared.

With 14 MP and a 5X wide-angle SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH Optical Zoom Lens, the camera also boasts Kodak’s Smart Capture and Face Recognition features, multiple scene and artistic modes, like photo booth and film effects, to have more fun with your pictures, and an HDMI connector so you can enjoy your pictures and videos on your HDTV.

The EASYSHARE TOUCH Camera will be available in black, purple and red for £129.99 in Spring 2011 at major retailers and Kodak.com.

KODAK EASYSHARE MINI Camera

About the size of a credit card, this little gem is Kodak’s smallest camera yet. With a 3X wide-angle optical zoom lens and built-in front mirror, it’s a snap to get you and all your friends in the picture. Super chic and super sleek, the EASYSHARE MINI is a 10 MP camera with a 2.5-inch bright LCD, Kodak’s Smart Capture and Face Recognition features, along with multiple scene and colour modes to have more fun with your pictures, and video. “My teenage kids love this little camera because it fits their lifestyle and makes sharing a breeze,” added Scott.

The EASYSHARE MINI Camera will be available in, white, red and black for £79.99 in Spring 2011 at major retailers and Kodak.com.

KODAK EASYSHARE SPORT Camera
Dunk it in the pool or bring it to the beach. Kodak’s first waterproof digital still camera can go up to 10 feet underwater, and is also dustproof to withstand dust and sand. The EASYSHARE SPORT is a 12 MP camera with a 2.4-inch LCD, Kodak’s Smart Capture feature, along with multiple scene and color modes to have more fun with your pictures, and video.
The EASYSHARE SPORT Camera will be available in grey, yellow and red for £59.99 in Spring 2011 at major retailers and Kodak.com.

Kodak’s Broad Portfolio
Kodak is also introducing several additional cameras within its EASYSHARE portfolio, including the high-performance KODAK EASYSHARE MAX Camera featuring Kodak’s first 12 MP BSI (back side illuminated) CMOS sensor to capture better pictures in low light. A 30X wide-angle SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH VARIOGON Optical Zoom Lens with optical image stabilization makes sure you can zoom in fast, close and wide, supported by a 3" HVGA LCD featuring 2X more resolution than standard displays. You can even record Full 1080 HD video with stereo sound and capture still pictures at the same time. It is a high-performance camera - jammed full of features - making it a breeze to capture what you see and includes Kodak’s exclusive Share Button to make sharing simpler.

New KODAK Essentials
Kodak is introducing KODAK Essentials, a full line of universal accessories that gives you the power, cases and gear you need to get the most out of your devices.

This new line includes the KODAK Essential Clip System, a customisable, modular case system compatible with most cameras, mobile phones and personal media players. Available in several colours and styles, the system includes a choice of six portable device cases and a messenger bag for easy organisation and quick access..
