Loxley Colour has completed a £2million move to new premises in Glasgow.
After a year’s search the leading prolab moved its eighty staff and
multi-million pound equipment inventory (on May 17) to new purpose-built, 60,000
sq ft premises at 1, Drum Mains Park, Orchardton Woods, Cumbernauld – just eight
miles from the city centre.
Chris Kay, marketing manager said: “Despite the recent recession we have been
experiencing substantial year on year growth for each of the past five years.
This is the fifth time in sixteen years Loxley Colour has moved in the city area
– we just keep outgrowing our home. We know that to stay ahead of the game we
must continue to expand and innovate.”
He added: “Our new unit is conveniently all on one level and just a few minutes
drive from the city centre. We are perfectly located for motorway connections
and adjacent to major transport hubs. Royal Mail and DHL depots are close by –
and they are vital components in fulfilling delivery to our rapidly expanding
global customer database.”
Loxley Colour will recruit additional staff through the year as it rolls out new
ranges of software and albums.
“Our mantra has always been to provide reasonably priced quality printing
services and that is what this new move will enable us to do with even greater
efficiency” added Kay.
“We have new online ordering systems ready to go, as part of our pledge to
provide photographers with all the latest technology developments and services
they deserve.”
Loxley Colour’s telephone number has now changed to 0845 519 5000 but the old
number (0141 333 9444) will stay active for two years.
