The Sunbounce Kid comes to town

16/05/11

World-acclaimed celebrity portrait photographer Greg Gorman is set to hold an exclusive workshop in London on June 13, as part of a European tour.

Gorman, whose philosophy is that ‘life itself is art’, is linking with Calumet to host the seminar at Holborn Studios, Eagle Wharf Road London N1 - and places will be limited to just twenty five.

Gorman has photographed dozens of stars and luminaries over the years, including Al Pacino, Michael Jackson and Sophia Loren - and American filmmaker and actor John Waters famously said that Greg Gorman was the only photographer he would ever let photograph his corpse.

The Sunbounce Photo and Lighting Workshop will focus on an overview of Gorman’s career; reviews of delegates’ work plus a unique tutorial showing how the portrait master sees and assesses a person’s face.

He will also reveal lighting secrets and host a lengthy afternoon shooting session and Q&A period. Cost £250 incl VAT.
For more details visit www.calumetseminars.co.uk.
