The Plugin Site is proud to announce Version 4.0 of Harrys Filters for Windows.

22/10/10

www.ThePluginSite.com

Harrys Filters is a free Photoshop-compatible plugin offering 69 image effects.

Harrys Filters can be used with dozens of different image editing applications, e.g. Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Paint Shop Pro, Photo-Paint, IrfanView and many others.

New in Version 4

Harrys Filters 4 includes a 64-bit version, which can be used in Photoshop CS4/CS5 and Photoline. The window of Harrys Filters uses visual styles and is finally resizable, which means you can make the effect preview as large as you want. Six effects received speed improvements which range from 1.25 to 2.5 times faster.

Harrys Filters 4 offers improved compatibility with a few applications, e.g. preview scrolling now works in SignLab and Image Analyzer. Additionally an activated Data Execution Protection (DEP) system setting does not keep Harrys Filters from working anymore. One setup installs both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Harrys Filters.

About Harrys Filters

The Harrys Filters 4 plugin includes 69 effect filters in one dialog. This lets you choose the appropriate effect without hassling through different menus and dialogs. It includes filters for changing the image color or mood, for creating artistic effects, producing colorful gradients or impressive patterns, warping images, adding special noise effects to images as well as encrypting and decrypting images. Furthermore, it produces various zoom, mirror or paint effects along with simulations of natural phenomenons like tornados, lightning and flames.

Harrys Filters is very easy and comfortable to use. It can be applied to 8bit/channel RGB and Grayscale images. A Play button plays back random slider settings as animations. Frame rate and speed of the animation are adjustable.

In addition to its entertainment value this feature lets you create interesting random effects and explore the possibilities of each filter effect. There is also a Jump button for producing random settings without an animation. Options for saving and opening effect presets allow the user to store his favorite effects and reuse them later. More than 120 presets are already delivered with the product. An instant preview check box
animates the preview while a slider is dragged, which facilitates effect adjustments.

Availability & System Requirements

Version 4 of Harrys Filters is available for Windows. A MacOS X version of Harrys Filters is planned. Harrys Filters is freeware and can be downloaded from http://thepluginsite.com/. There is also a commercial and enhanced version of Harrys Filters with even more sophisticated effects called Plugin Galaxy..
