Corel launches PhotoImpact X3

Corel has just announced PhotoImpact X3 a new version of its image-editing software. Designed for so-called family "memory keepers" and hobbyists, it is said to have quick, effective photo enhancement tools and projects. Photos can be turned into comic strips, incorporated into calendars and other templates, and special effects such as clouds can be added to photos. The new software is expected to retail for around $69.95.
