‘Ideal’ Websites for photographers

Building on the success of idealweddingphotography.co.uk, the ‘ideal’ group have launched a new site for photographers at idealgallery.co.uk.

idealweddingphotography.co.uk allows wedding photographers to create a personal website for couples and display their wedding photographs on that website, for online viewing and purchasing.

idealgallery.co.uk takes the next step, allowing photographers of any description to create their own websites instantly with automatic gallery management and an eCommerce facility. If you already have your own website, but do not sell online, you can link into the gallery management option to display your work and allow clients to purchase online.

Previewing the site at the SWPP/BPPA convention in January and Focus 2007 in February, the service was enthusiastically received. Commenting on the shows, director Ben Walsh told us:
