Lastolite Appointed UK Distributor for SMDV Flash Wave III

Lastolite Limited, the world’s leading manufacturer of backgrounds and lighting control systems for the photo, video and cinema industry, has announced they are to be the UK distributor for the SMDV Flash Wave III.

The new Flash Wave III is a compact radio slave system for wireless triggering of cameras, speedlite, and studio flash units. The Flash Wave III provides sixteen individual radio frequency channels on a 2.4 GHz frequency band. A compatible shutter release cable allows you to remotely trigger your camera using a two step triggering button. This allows you to activate your camera from sleep mode as well as perform auto focus.

The Flash Wave III has a built in hotshoe, and also comes with a number of accessories including a PC Sync, 3.5mm mini jack cable and 3.5 – 6.3mm converter. The Flash Wave III is compatible with both studio heads and battery operated flash and offers sync speeds up to 1/250sec.
